The 19 room Montpelier Plantation & Beach property on the Caribbean island of Nevis is set to reopen on October 18, 2014 following a two-month seasonal closure for room and property upgrades. The property is a former sugar plantation dating back to the 1700s.

New chef Stéphane Caumont, formerly with the Grand Hyatt Dubai , will introduce a menu focused on island fare at Montpelier’s Restaurant 750, Indigo and the Mill Privee.
Facilities at the Nevis resort include bungalow accommodations, a three-acre private beach, a pool, three bars, refurbished Great Room and Children in Action kids’ program for kids ages 6 to 12.
