This white-sand gem on Curacao has some of the brightest blue water on the island, a treat for swimmers, snorkelers, and sunbathers too. The only drawback at Cas Abao beach may be the weekend crowds, especially Sunday, when local families descend in droves; come on a weekday for more privacy. Beach chairs, paddleboats, snorkeling and diving gear are available for rent here. The entry fee is $3, and the beach is open from 8 to 6. Turn off Westpunt Highway at the junction onto Weg Naar Santa Cruz; follow until the turnoff for Cas Abao, and then drive along the winding country road for about 10 minutes to the beach.
